Job Vacancy: Technical Support Developer
Description of Role
We are looking for a knowledgeable, talented developer to support our Businss2Mobile enterprise mobile messaging platform. You will lead our customer support interactions, manage support queries and work to reproduce, diagnose and solve customer problems.
You will work with the Saadian product development team on the diagnosis and resolution of complex issues. You will be responsible for managing customer communications and relationships in an effective and professional manner. The support aspect of the role is not full-time, and you will have opportunities to participate actively in the development of the product.

This role will commence in the new year and will be based at our city centre premises.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with customers and offer phone/email support where required.
- Ability to logically work through problems and apply an appropriate solution
- Ability to write and debug java code
- Daily maintenance of the platform and trouble shooting problems with the platform as they arise
- Prompt response and resolution of issues raised by customer
- Document product/customer issues and actions.
- Liaise with Saadian sales staff and offer technical advice and support
- Liaise with Saadian development team and keep up to date with future product development and product updates.
- Carry out minor code changes in order to fix bugs
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Experience in developing J2EE Web application design and development using Servlets, JDBC, HTML & JavaScript. (Minimum 3 years).
- Database management and SQL experience, preferably MySQL (Minimum 3 years)
- Hands on experience of administrating and configuring Unix including scripting and editors (Minimum 2 years)
- Detailed understanding of Internet technologies including HTML, HTTP and FTP.
- Customer support experience: diagnostic mindset; a professional written and verbal communication style; an ability to manage time and priorities effectively in delivering solutions to customers. (Minimum 2 years)
Saadian operate in a fast-moving environment, where you will be given a great deal of responsibility whilst also liaising with clients and ensuring a wide range of java based applications are properly supported. You will need very strong technical, problem-solving, organisational and people skills to truly succeed in this challenging and highly rewarding environment. To fulfill this role, you must have a solid Java programming background with excellent knowledge of SQL and Unix.
Qualifications required
University Degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent.Desired Individual Profile

- Excellent verbal and written skills in the English language

Salary Range: €30,000-€35,000
