British Transport Police, Dyfed-Powys, Lincolnshire and Gloucestershire Police Authorities select PINS Version 3.3 as their Prisoner Intelligence system

Another four forces sign up to PINS, having committed to PINS for the next 1-3 years British Transport Police, Dyfed-Powys, Lincolnshire and Gloucestershire Police are confident that efficiencies and detection rates will be improved as the system is rolled out across their forces.

DI Chris Bennett from Lincolnshire Police explained that "PINS will bring great benefits to Specialist Crime Units, Public Protection teams and PPO Managers, having easy to access prisoner data and intelligence will enable us to easily risk-assess and prioritise accordingly. We look forward to going live with PINS 3.3 within the next few weeks."
